As the world's largest enterprise software company, Oracle has remained at the forefront of innovative technology, continuing to provide its customers worldwide with a variety of software and services. Oracle also has been an active participant in IMS Global Learning Consortium, helping to define standards for learning systems. IMS recently talked with Curtiss Barnes, senior director of applications strategy for Oracle's Education and Research activities, to ascertain what Oracle's plans are in higher education.
