Wellspring: Open Standards and Competency Frameworks - Enabling a Virtual Talent Network
The Wellspring Initiative brought institutions, employers, and industry-standard bodies together as competency-based partners, doing the hard work of building and aligning frameworks. Based on what we learned, 1EdTech created a reference software ecosystem built on 1EdTech open digital credentials standards that enable a "virtual talent network" of institutions, employers, and learner-earners. This session will explore lessons learned from institutional-employer partnerships and will demonstrate the resulting Wellspring reference software applications.
