Learning analytics systems incorporate data from many parts of an institution, including both curricular and co-curricular units. To date, few academic libraries have contributed data, though interest in closing this gap is growing. This presentation will explore the what, why, and how of library data inclusion in institutional learning analytics. 
 

Connecting Credentials with Extended Transcripts: The Power of Collective Impact

1EdTech has developed a standard for extended transcripts that transparently articulates competencies and co-curricular achievements. Using JSON-LD, it connects credentials for interoperability between academic and employer systems. Credentials are delivered and verified securely, including through blockchain. It is harmonized with Open Badges and the Credential Transparency Description Language.
