A meeting for all 1EdTech Consortium higher education members will be held on October 31, 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., during the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference. Participation is limited to 1EdTech institutional members.
Following, there will be an optional Technologies for Student Success Design Summit led by the U.S Department of Education from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. that is open to 1EdTech institutional members. The meetings will take place in Regency Ballroom C, 2nd Floor of the Loews Philadelphia Hotel (1200 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19107). Lunch will be provided. There is no fee to attend.

Optional Session led by the U.S. Department of Education: Technologies Supporting Student Success Summit U.S. Department of Education representatives will lead a session about the enormous potential for microcredentials and blockchain to transform the infrastructure, policies, and support structures in our current system of higher education. These technologies can also accelerate a vision for the future of postsecondary learning, where learner agency is supported across a lifetime of learning and working. In this session, we will brainstorm strategies to encourage institutions, suppliers, and other education stakeholdes to explore and pilot these new technologies. |
