Create Learning-Centric Ecosystems So All Kids Are College and Career Ready

The promise of delivering college/career-ready global graduates depends on a learning-centric ecosystem where students have common and seamless access to learning resources. But without the right technical standards, partners, software, and content, school districts face significant impediments to harnessing the full benefits of #edtech. Implementing the right technology with the right partners allows district leaders to transform learning, enhances relationships between educators and students, provides access to multiple sources of high-quality learning materials, and data to inform next steps for deeper learning.  Participants in this thought-provoking session will learn about how to create an environment that promotes active learning and collaboration, shrink long-standing equity and accessibility gaps, and adapt learning experiences to meet the needs of all learners.

Led by: Dr. Rob Abel, Chief Executive Officer of the 1EdTech Consortium, with contributions from Beatriz Arnillas, Senior Educational Advisor, itslearning and former Director of IT – Education Technology for the Houston Independent School District, and Pete Just, CTO of the MSD of Wayne Township (IN)
