Hi there,
The filtering spec (section 3.4.3 of OneRoster 1.1) says to single-quote values:
Values MUST be enclosed within single quotes and they must be handled as case insensitive.
The specification doesn't indicate how single quotes within values should be escaped -- for example, if filtering classes for classCode of Mr O'Malley's Period 3.
A common convention is to escape with backslashes -- so that query would become classCode='Mr O\'Malley\'s Period 3', but the spec is silent on the issue. Can this be clarified in a later revision? Any guidance in the meantime?
