Mollie McGill is director of programs and membership for the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET). WCET is a national, non-profit organization whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of effective practices and policies, advancing excellence in technology-enhanced teaching and learning in higher education. WCET is nationally recognized as one of the most informative, reliable and forward-thinking organizations regarding the role of technology and innovation in higher education. McGill oversees membership services and a variety of programs on such topics as adaptive learning, academic integrity, student authentication, 21st C credentials, and the range of issues addressed by WCET and its community of 350 colleges, universities, higher education organizations and companies. She spent nearly 20 years working for WICHE in the early part of her career and, among other accomplishments, was instrumental in founding WCET in 1989. McGill directed learning innovations and technology initiatives for the University of Colorado System and served in leadership roles for several Colorado statewide e-learning projects.
