Registration Policies

If you have any questions or need to make any changes to your registration, please contact Tracy Fandel, at tfandel@imsglobal.org or +1.508.238-0201.

PAYMENT POLICY: To qualify for the early registration fee, we must receive your registration and payment no later than 10 March 2017. All registrations received after that date to 28 April will be processed at the regular registration fee. Registrations received after 28 April will be processed at the late registration fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations received on or before the early cut off date of 10 March 2017 are eligible for a full refund of fees paid, less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations received between 11 March and 28 April are eligible for a 50% refund of fees paid. Absolutely no refunds will be issued after the 28 April 2017 date.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: The conference is hosted by 1EdTech Consortium who reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without further explanation, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual to the said conference.

AUDIO/VIDEO TAPING, DIGITAL RECORDING AND PHOTOGRAPHY: You must obtain 1EdTech GLC's permission to record any session or activity in any medium. 1EdTech GLC reserves the right to ask any attendee to move within or to leave a session venue if their use of technology is disruptive to speakers or other attendees. Note that by attending the conference, attendees have agreed to the terms of the 1EdTech GLC Image/Audio/Video Release below, which allows images, audio, and video recorded on site to be used for educational and promotional purposes.

Individual Release and Waiver of Rights for Learning Impact Leadership Institute 2017

For good and valuable consideration received, I hereby irrevocably grant 1EdTech GLC and those acting with its authority (collectively referred to as “1EdTech GLC”) the following:

All rights to use my name, voice, likeness, biographical information or image (the “Speaker Information”);

All rights to photograph me for promotional purposes (the “Materials”);

All rights to audiotape, videotape, or otherwise record me in an interview or participating in a session during [insert conference] (the “Materials”);

The unrestricted, absolute, perpetual, worldwide right (but not the obligation) to use, copy, modify, edit, create derivative works, display, transmit, perform, distribute, publish, exhibit and otherwise use the Materials in any and all media or form of communication, whether now existing or hereafter developed, including on 1EdTech GLC’s Web sites or those Web sites owned by 1EdTech GLC affiliates or anyone acting with 1EdTech GLC’s authority (the “Web Sites”), all for the purpose of publicizing 1EdTech GLC's programs (the “Purpose”).

I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the Materials.

I acknowledge 1EdTech GLC’s right to crop, splice, treat and edit the Materials at its sole discretion. I waive my right to inspect or approve the finished product, now and in the future, whether that use is known or unknown to me. 1EdTech GLC reserves the right to discontinue the use of the Materials without notice to me.

I represent and warrant that I have full power and authority to execute this Individual Release and Waiver of Rights (the “Release”). I hereby waive all rights and release 1EdTech GLC from any claim or cause of action, whether now known or unknown, for defamation, invasion of right to privacy, publicity or personality or any similar matter, or based upon or relating to the use and exploitation of the Materials as contemplated herein, including but not limited to any reuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, or use in composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in production of the finished product.

I have read this Release before registering, and I fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of this Release.
