Increase Learner Accessibility to Content, Courses and Programs, and Create a Personalized Educational Experience for Students
IMS GLC has developed or is actively developing several standards to address learner accessibility needs and enable personalized education.
Our standards enable interactions and data exchange between learning systems and administrative, student, or human resource systems, as well as provide for inclusive design, and personalization of online learning resources to meet the needs of all learners.
-
AccessForAll (AFA) provides for accessibility, inclusive design, and personalization of online learning resources to meet the needs of all learners.
- Learning Information Services (LIS) defines data exchange between learning systems and administrative, student, or human resource systems, enabling the compilation and analysis of student-specific data points to assess academic achievement, personalize education and assess risk of attrition or persistence.
- Targeted Retention Systems (TRS)will develop a methodology consisting of processes and technologies that identify individual students at-risk of persisting to stated academic objectives and manage targeted interventions specific to the individual student’s need.
