Regional Resources

CETIS (formally IMS UK Centre). CETIS is funded by JISC and managed by Bolton Institute for the benefit of all UK higher and further education institutions. The Centre coordinates activities such as requirements gathering, specifications feedback and information dissemination for online learning communities and initiatives in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

IMS Australia Centre. The Department of Education, Training, and Youth Affairs (DETYA) is the official sponsor of the IMS Australia Centre. It has been very active in requirements gathering particularly from the Australian higher education community. In addition, IMS Australia Centre is active in harmonizing IMS specifications with other standards efforts (like Dublin Core), where Australian representatives have been participating. The IMS Australia Centre was also the gracious host to the IMS Advisory Board and Technical Board meetings in October, 1999.
