Chris Chung is principal of Chung & Associates, a consulting firm that leverages Chris's 30+ years' global experience to help companies strategically design, deploy and manage Information Technology and Educational Technology Solutions.
Chris's career has included IT work for both profit and nonprofit organizations in the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia. Prior to his most recent position as Director of a U.S.-based academic standards organization working internationally with linked data in Education, Chris led the Enterprise Standards Strategy for the K-12 publishing division of Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt (HMH), the U.S.’s largest K-12 educational publisher. While there, Chris also served as HMH representative to NIMAS Board, SIAA Education Technology Workgroup, and IMS Global Consortium K-12 Work Group. Immediately prior to his work at HMH, Chris was CIO of the Educational Division of the American Hotel and Lodging Association, the sole national association
representing all segments of the 1.8 million-employee U.S. lodging industry.
