Optional Session led by the U.S. Department of Education:
Technologies Supporting Student Success Summit
U.S. Department of Education representatives will lead a session about the enormous potential for microcredentials and blockchain to transform the infrastructure, policies, and support structures in our current system of higher education. These technologies can also accelerate a vision for the future of postsecondary learning, where learner agency is supported across a lifetime of learning and working. In this session, we will brainstorm strategies to encourage institutions, suppliers, and other education stakeholdes to explore and pilot these new technologies.
