Jonathan Martin is Director of K12 Professional Learning for ACT Inc., and the principal of his educational consulting practice, JonathanEMartin Ed. Services, with a mission “to support educators, schools, districts, and associations in the work of strengthening 21st century teaching, learning, and assessing and in becoming ‘schools of the future.'”
Jonathan has over twenty years experience as a school-leader in California and Arizona, and since 2012 has worked with scores of schools and organizations to promote educational excellence and innovation so as to better prepare students colleges and careers. He is the author of the 2019 book, Reinventing Crediting for Competency-Based Education: The Mastery Transcript Consortium Model & Beyond. Based in Tucson, AZ, he Chairs the Board of Directors for the charter school network, City Center for Collaborative Learning. He has degrees from Harvard University (BA) and U. San Francisco (MA, Education).
