Panel Discussion: Replicating Traditional Student Services in the e-Learning Environment
As one of the largest public institutions in the United States and with over 150,000 online enrollments in 2006, UMUC panelists will discuss how they are replicating traditional student services in the e-Learning environment, including library and application services. This will be a highly interactive discussion, with audience members and panelists exchanging their challenges, lessons learned and best practices developed in this area.

Panel Discussion: e-Learning Faculty Support Services
In 2006, UMUC’s Center for Teaching and Learning was awarded the Sloan C Excellence in Faculty Development for Online Teaching for CTLA 201-Teaching with WebTycho Training Course. UMUC panelists will discuss their model for providing quality faculty support services for e-Learning and share their lessons learned and best practices in this area. As this will be an interactive discussion, panel and audience members will share global issues and challenges in this area and identify specific problem areas for which LTAC projects can be initiated to develop a solution.
