Partnering with Employers to Empower Skills Development

With the advent of skills-based hiring, employers and academic institutions are navigating the identification, prioritization, validation, and communication of skills along a career and continuous learning trajectory. This session will share how some 1EdTech higher education members have made tremendous strides in recent years. They have successfully partnered with various employers across different industries to offer digital credentials to allow individuals to climb the economic ladder, meet employer demand, and support a thriving post-pandemic economy. The ability to collaborate on upskilling and reskilling employees has led to multiple success stories and created additional interest from new partners. This session will share how to do this work and how this work can change lives in your community.
