What is CASE and Why Does it Matter?
Until very recently, all states published state learning standards in static forms, such as PDFs or docs. These types are not "machine-readable" and fell short of the need to meta-tag digital resources in order to provide effective learner-centered instruction ecosystems. Districts around the USA were working hard to implement standards-based cohesive digital environments, but in order to truly enable data-informed learning, a standard way of naming and linking Learning Outcomes was needed. Districts partnered with 1EdTech and vendor-partners to build a solution.
