To date, few academic libraries have contributed data, though interest in closing this gap is growing. 1EdTech has developed a standard for extended transcripts that transparently articulates competencies and co-curricular achievements. Using JSON-LD, it connects credentials for interoperability between academic and employer systems. Credentials are delivered and verified securely, including through blockchain. It is harmonized with Open Badges and the Credential Transparency Description Language.
