U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Employer Job Registry Forum

Washington, DC

Mark Leuba, vice president, product management, will represent 1EdTech at this invitation-only forum hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF) to explore the potential role of an employer-led job registry for improving how employers organize and signal their competency and credential requirements for their most critical jobs.

Building on USCCF’s Talent Pipeline Management initiative, USCCF plans to create new tools and resources to help employers improve their talent management practices through facilitating the development, alignment, and dissemination of their hiring requirements across employers and their most trusted partners. There are also broad benefits that can be achieved for talent providers seeking to align with employer needs as well as opportunities to improve real-time and government labor market information that identify changing job requirements in national, state, and regional markets.

To address this issue, the USCCF is working with the George Washington Institute of Public Policy and the University of Chicago’s Center for Data Science and Public Policy to explore the role of an employer-led job registry and related resources that employers could use to take on this work.

The June 12th forum will bring together 20–30 leading employers and HR technology companies as well as other public and private leaders and data experts.
