Every new digital learning application comes with bells, whistles, and the solution to your problems—but is it really? How do you evaluate the rapidly shifting edtech marketplace, and what are the “must-have” criteria when evaluating new digital learning tools? How do you develop vendor and campus partnerships to succeed in tool selection? Join this session to hear how some institutions are tackling the challenge of reviewing apps for accessibility, interoperability, data use, privacy considerations, and educational impact on students. Participants will engage in developing technology adoption criteria, discuss how to maximize the impact of technology, and walk away with tangible resources to adapt to their unique institutional needs.
