James Rissler is the Technical Standards Architect for LTI. Previously, James held several roles at VitalSource including Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead and Product Manager for VitalSource's LTI tool platform. James also served as Chair of the LTI Product Steering committee while being heavily involved in the LTI working group for several years.
Prior to this work with VitalSource, James worked as a Senior Software Engineer for a Department of Education contractor developing extensive software solutions to promote the efficient use of inter-departmental resources and collaboration. These efforts had extensive impacts in many programs promoted by the Department of Education.
James lives and works in Lascassas, Tennessee (outside of Nashville).
