1EdTech, the world leader in EdTech interoperability and impact, is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a minimum of 5 years of edtech marketing experience to drive the development of marketing strategies, positioning and messaging of 1EdTech standards to accelerate adoption. We are also looking for someone with knowledge of 1EdTech standards with ability to grasp and present the value proposition of 1EdTech standards in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences. This position is 100% remote with 10% travel as required. Only qualified candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Development of innovative programs that drive demand and adoption for 1EdTech standards and practices to enable a plug-and-play digital edtech ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with a wide array of technical and non-technical audiences.
- Identify and develop marketing assets needed to support product marketing strategy, e.g. website copy, case studies, articles, videos, presentation, white papers, webinars, etc.
- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis and proactively identify recommended changes.
- Plan the launches of net-new standards and releases of new versions of existing standards, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Identify appropriate external marketing channels for generating market awareness for how standards can help institutions reduce costs, save implementation time and support teaching and learning innovation.
- Help define content marketing and campaign strategies, and working with other parts of the organization to ensure they are executed.
- Partner closely with the 1EdTech technical teams to develop thorough understanding of the standards, use cases, and implementation resources.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of edtech product marketing experience.
- Familiarity with 1EdTech's interoperability standards is required to be successful in this position.
- Demonstrated an ability to dive into a product and become a champion and promote features, use cases, and value proposition to key stakeholders.
- Experience working closely in partnership with customer-facing and technical teams.
- Strong communication, writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
- Effectively work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Manage projects and work against established deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in marketing or communications.
