Common Cartridge V1.1, V1.2, V 1.3, Thin CC V1.2 &V1.3 and Learning Platforms Allowable Exceptions List
This approach allows tools which do not inherently support functionality (such as discussion forums) the opportunity to gain Common Cartridge conformance. All systems which do not support a feature of Common Cartridge must fail gracefully and indicate to the user that they do not support the feature. All systems must import cartridges to gain conformance, they may not fail at import regardless of the features contained in the cartridge.
