Start of Interoperability Testing of the LIS CM/DN Release
Hi,
We have started the Interop Testing of the CM/DN Release of the LIS. We will be restarting the project Group Conference Calls on 8th September to discuss the issues that have been raised by the first wave of testing.
There will be a full day of Interop Testing demonstration at the IMS Quarterly meeting in October (Wednesday , 21st October to be exact), hosted by Oracle at Redwood Shores, CA, USA.
Below is the agenda for the 1st LIS Interoperability Testing/Demonstration event.
This will take place on eh 21st October, 2009 at the Oracle Offices at Redwood Shores, CA, USA.

ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES
. Identification of the interoperability problems in the current LIS CM/DN release and to recommend changes to the specification to remove those problems;
.Start to define the best practice and implementation recommendations for inclusion in the Public Draft documentation;
. Introduction of the LIS Alliance and explanation of how it will provide support for the adoption of the LIS specification;
. Agreement on the timeline for the release of the Pubic Draft and the next interoperability testing activities for demonstration at the February Quarterly meeting;
. Agree the further work that is required on the Outcomes Management Service such that it meets the needs of the Learning Tools Interoperability specification.
