Lake Mary, USA – 23 January 2014 – The 1EdTech Consortium, the world’s leading educational technology advancement and technical standards setting collaborative, today announced the sponsors and agenda for the 2nd in a series of EDUPUB workshops focused on accelerating market adoption of digital textbooks and learning materials via collaboration on enabling open standards and best practices. These standards and best practices will leverage the work of several leading global standards organizations, namely IDPF, 1EdTech, W3C and others as needed. The EDUPUB2 workshop will occur on February 12-13 in Salt Lake City, Utah USA.
The EDUPUB2 workshop agenda themes will include: (a) Overview of the emerging EDUPUB specification, (b) Assessment, outcomes & analytics, (c) e-text app integration & widgets library, (d) metadata & content (e) accessibility, and (f) technical and business issues summary discussions.
