LAKE MARY, Florida, 27 April 2018 — 1EdTech Consortium (1EdTech/1EdTech), the world-leading non-profit collaborative advancing edtech interoperability, innovation, and learning impact announced today that 26 projects were selected to advance to the final round of competition for the 2018 Learning Impact Awards.
The annual Learning Impact Awards competition identifies innovative applications of educational technology that have high potential to improve learning impact and experiences through increased student access, improved student outcomes, and greater affordability.
This year's finalists were selected from all entries received through the open call for nominations and from regional competitions held around the world. All finalists will advance to the final round of competition, which will take place at the 2018 Learning Impact Leadership Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, 21-24 May.
A panel of experts evaluates the entries—consisting of a short video pitch, detailed project flyer, and a brief Q&A session—using eight established criteria to determine their learning impact in an educational setting.
