The report provides a detailed analysis of the Learning Impact Award finalists and shares ongoing trends identified through the Learning Impact program. The submission period for the 2017 Learning Impact Awards runs from January 4 until February 28, 2017. Learning Tools Interoperability® Development Assistance Welcome Jill Hobson and Jeff Bohrer! 1EdTech welcomed two new staff members this month. Jill Hobson started on November 7 as an Institutional Program Manager. Jill served as Director of Instructional Technology for 13 years in Forsyth County Schools (GA) before joining Promethean where she was Senior Education Strategist. Jill will help lead large-scale K-12 projects like BYOD or 1:1 initiatives, and help improve end user documentation and materials. Jeff Bohrer joined 1EdTech on November 16 as Technical Program Manager and Open Badges workgroup facilitator. Jeff has spent the past 16+ years in higher education on academic technology teams, most recently at the University of Wisconsin. As an institutional member, Jeff served as co-chair of the Learning Tools and Content Community of Practice. When time allows, Jeff enjoys golf, following Minnesota sports teams, coaching youth sports, and spending time with his family.
